The first victory in five matches was achieved by "Mallorca", who on Monday defeated the undefeated Bilbao "Athletic" 1-0 in the Spanish championship for the sixth consecutive time.
The only goal was scored by Cameroonian Pierre Webo in the 11th minute after a pass from Emilio Nsue.
After the break, "Athletic" tried to equalize the score, but the hosts defended reliably and added three more points to their tally.
"Mallorca" is in 10th place in the standings, while "Athletic" remains in fifth position.
