Mourinho: I will stay in Madrid if they don't forgive me © EuroFootball.com

Jose Mourinho linked his future with Real Madrid by stating that he will only leave when he is fired.

Just a month ago, the Portuguese publicly talked about his desire to return to work in England. Speculation was further fueled by his conflict with Real Madrid's general manager Jorge Valdano.

"If they don't fire me, I will stay," the Portuguese said on "Radio Cope." "I signed a four-year contract with the intention of staying until its expiration."

"When you leave a club like Inter Milan and move to Real, you don't do it for just one year. I want to stay, so if everyone is united and continues the project, I won't have a reason to leave."
