Ancelotti: I will never resign from "Chelsea" club © EuroFootball.com

Carlo Ancelotti insists he will never voluntarily step down from his position as head coach in London, so this decision will have to be made by owner Roman Abramovich.

In the English championship, the 'Blues' are already 12 points behind the leader "Man Utd", and over the weekend they ended their appearance in the FA Cup tournament, losing to Liverpool's "Everton".

When asked if he would consider resigning, the Italian said: "No, I definitely won't do that. I have never resigned or run away.

"I don't have to think about my position - that's the owner's job. I just have to work hard and try my best. This is football, in tough times you need to not lose confidence in your abilities."
