Check: Losing to "Copenhagen" club would be a tragedy © EuroFootball.com

London goalkeeper Petr Cech admits that a loss to Copenhagen in the Champions League quarter-finals would be a tragedy.

The English champions have already been eliminated from the FA Cup tournament, and are 12 points behind the leader Manchester United in the national championship.

When asked what a loss to the Danes would mean, the Czech said: "It would be a tragedy. It's not important who the opponent is, but the stage of the tournament."

"To be eliminated in the quarter-finals is very bad for Chelsea. No big team aims for that."

Cech also added that Carlo Ancelotti's players are not giving up hope in the Premier League: "Of course, we are fighting for the best position in the table."

"Mathematically we still have a chance to take first place. We have to hope that our opponents will drop points, but it's unlikely to happen. So realistically, we can only win the Champions League," the goalkeeper said.
