In Madrid, the security guard Sami Khedira, who suffered a thigh injury, will be out for approximately two to three weeks.

The 23-year-old German injured himself during the Champions League round of 16 match against Lyon, which took place on Tuesday and ended in a 1-1 draw.

It is speculated that Khedira may be forced to miss the return match, which will take place on March 16 in Madrid.

Until then, Real will play four more matches in the Spanish championship against Deportivo La Coruna, Malaga, Racing Santander, and Hercules.

Khedira has secured a place in the main lineup of the team led by Jose Mourinho and has played 21 matches in the national championship, starting in eleven of them.
