Bayern Munich's security Arjen Robben does not write off Milan's "Inter" club, despite the victory of the German team in the first leg of the quarterfinals.
Louis van Gaal's disciples created more opportunities at Milan's "San Siro" stadium and took home the victory thanks to a late goal from Mario Gomez.
"It was a great match for the fans," Robben told Sky Sports. "I think we played better and deserved to win.
"You always have to wait for your chance. I felt that we would get such an opportunity towards the end of the match and we took advantage of it. This evening was very important - we played great, but the Italians are very dangerous and we cannot relax."
"Inter" coach Leonardo did not lose hope and blamed goalkeeper Julio Cesar for the unreliable goal: "He does not need to apologize. There were many chances in the match, and mistakes are part of the game.
"Of course, the defeat is even more painful because we conceded a goal right at the end. It dealt a blow to our confidence in our abilities. But we are not afraid of Bayern - we had great chances to score. We will try to counterattack away from home."
