After the meeting of the Appeal Licensing Committee of the Lithuanian Football Federation, it was decided which clubs' appeals to accept and issue licenses.
This time the licenses were issued to Panevėžys "Ekranas", Vilnius "Vėtra", Vilnius "Žalgiris", and to the public companies "Football Prospects" and "Žemaitija Sports, Health and Tourism Center".
Klaipėda's "Rodovitas" and Šiauliai's "Sakalas" did not receive licenses. Earlier, licenses were granted to, , , and "Šilutė".
The decision of the Appeals Committee is final and cannot be appealed, so in the upcoming season, 8 teams should play in the "A-League": "Kaunas", "Ekranas", "Atlantas", "Vėtra", "Žalgiris", "Sūduva", "Vilnius", and "Šilutė".
