Turin's "Juventus" club suffered their eighth loss of the season, unexpectedly losing 0-2 to the "Bologna" team in front of their own fans. The latter defeated the "Old Lady" away for the first time in three decades.
Both goals for the winners in the second half were scored by 34-year-old forward Marco Di Vaio. The Italian has already scored 16 times this season.
Indeed, "Juventus" had several chances to score, but luck was not on the hosts' side - the ball hit the goal frame, and defenders cleared it twice from the goal line.
In seventh place with 41 points, Luigi Delneri's players have significantly complicated their chances of fighting for a place in the Champions League, as fourth-placed Roma's "Lazio" team has 7 points more and a match in hand.
Meanwhile, "Bologna" is in 11th place with 35 points.
Eight more matches will be played on Sunday, and the central clash between the league-leading "Milan" and "Napoli" teams will take place on Monday.
