Milan strategist Allegri: we played the whole match on the "Napoli" field side © EuroFootball.com

Strategist Massimiliano Allegri insists that his players deservedly beat "Napoli."

In Monday's Italian championship match at home, the Milan team defeated the third-placed "Napoli" club 3-0. However, much discussion was sparked by the first goal, which Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored by converting a controversial penalty kick awarded by the referee.

"From the bench, it seemed like a penalty, but upon reviewing the replay, doubts may arise," admitted the specialist.

"Nevertheless, we played well. We didn't allow the opponents to hit the target once, so I think we deservedly won.

"In the first half, we played excellently, but we made a lot of mistakes attacking. Nevertheless, I liked the character we showed - we played in their half for 90 minutes."
