Strategist Kenny Dalglish did not rule out the possibility that Andy Carroll's debut could take place in this Sunday's crucial match against "Man Utd."
The Liverpool team acquired Carroll for over 40 million euros on the last day of January, but due to a thigh injury, he has not played a single match yet.
“At the moment, we cannot say for sure who will play. The same goes for Carroll,” Dalglish said. "Andy is training, but has not played in any matches yet. We have always said that we are pleased with his progress."
"Of course, the 'Man Utd' coach would like to know if he will play on Sunday. But we don't know. We may even not register him for the match."
