Darren Fletcher followed the example of his team-mate Michael Carrick and extended his contract with the club until the summer of 2015.
In the ranks of the 'Red Devils', Fletcher debuted in 2003 and managed to play a total of 288 matches, scoring 21 goals.
He won the English championship three times, as well as the FA and Champions League trophies once each.
"It is a huge honor for me to represent this club. I have won many trophies and I hope we will win even more," said the defender.
