Armin Veho's days in the team are numbered - the club's website reported that the 50-year-old specialist will leave the German team next summer.
The patience of the 'Red Shorts' leaders was tested over the weekend by a defeat suffered in front of their own fans to "Mainz" players with a score of 2-4, even though the hosts had twice gained a one-goal lead.
According to the press reports, Veho's successor could be former "Hoffenheim" coach Ralf Rangnick or "Kobenhavn" manager Stale Solbakken.
"Hamburg" currently holds the seventh place in the standings of the Bundesliga championship.
