Emmanuel Adebayor hopes to become a full-fledged member of Real Madrid this summer. The Togolese national team striker belongs to England's "Man City" club, but has been loaned to a Spanish team until the end of this season.
"I hear the fans chanting my name in the stadium, and being loved is very important," the African said. "I will do everything to stay here for as long as possible.
"I want to achieve a lot in Madrid. I have been playing football for many years, but, you could say, I still have empty hands. I hope that will change."
In seven Spanish league matches, Adebayor scored two goals.
