Before the XXIX round match of the Italian "Serie A" championship against the "Cesena" club, Luigi Del Neri noted that his coached team is united and wants to recover as quickly as possible after a series of failures.
The strategist also emphasized that the margin for errors has run out and the Turin team must bring three points from Cesena.
"We lack quality. Cesena did not perform badly in their recent matches, so we must play aggressively and dynamically against them," explained Del Neri.
"I want to see a team that fights for every inch of the pitch and does not give up when things go in a negative direction. We cannot afford to make mistakes because we need a victory," he added.
After the last national championship round, where Juventus lost at home to Milan, most of the "old lady" players said that the team is united. Del Neri just confirmed these words.
"Victory is achieved by the whole team, and everyone loses together, not just one player. The responsibility falls on everyone's shoulders. I hope we can calmly achieve our first victory out of the remaining ten matches," he said.
According to many, the main problems of Juventus are lack of self-confidence, fear of making mistakes, and uncertainty in attack. The coach believes that only three points can solve these issues.
"Everyone works hard in training. We want to recover as quickly as possible and, of course, we try to get the injured players back on their feet as soon as possible. Only positive results can boost self-confidence," said Del Neri.
Del Neri did not reveal to journalists what he is preparing to put on the field today. One thing is clear - Juventus will have to deal without midfielder Luca Toni.
"Today, in the attack, Matri, Iaquinta, and Del Piero can play. Toni will miss the match due to injury. I have already decided on the two starting forwards," said the coach.
