London West Ham's safety Wilson Palacios has undergone arthroscopic knee surgery, after which the footballer will not be able to play for about three weeks.
The 26-year-old member of the Honduran national team complained to the club's medical staff after Thursday's training session about pain in his right leg, as written on the team's official website.
Palacios will definitely miss the Premier League matches against London West Ham and Wigan, but should recover in time for the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal.
