Johan Djourou's injury is not as serious as initially thought, so the footballer may appear on the field again this month, BBC reports.
In Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final, London's Arsenal defender dislocated his shoulder. According to initial forecasts, his season was already over.
However, in talks with representatives of the Swiss national team, Djourou reassured that he will be able to avoid surgery, so his return could happen as soon as the match with Bulgaria on March 26.
Comprehensive examinations will be carried out on Tuesday.
