Attacker Filippo Inzaghi hopes to return to the field in April and help the team in crucial battles of the season.
The 37-year-old veteran suffered a serious knee injury in the first half of this season. It was predicted that the Italian would only be able to return to the field in the summer.
However, Inzaghi himself claims otherwise: "I feel good. The condition of my knee is much better. I hope to be able to play already next month.
"I am eager to play and contribute to the fight for the 'Scudetto', but I will do it only when I am 100 percent ready. I want to be the same Inzaghi on the field as before."
When asked about his future after retiring from his football career, Inzaghi smiled: "I don't know if I would like to become a coach. I could aspire to that, but I am afraid that sometimes I am too angry."
