Ancelotti: it is not true that Torres does not fit into the new environment © EuroFootball.com

London strategist Carlo Ancelotti denies that Fernando Torres does not fit in with the new environment.

The former "Liverpool" striker, who was transferred to the capital team for 58 million pounds, has already played five matches, but has not scored any goals. Poor performance by the Spaniard, inability to find a common language on the field with new teammates, and disappointing movements have sparked discussions that Torres feels poorly in London.

"That's not true," Ancelotti stated. "Fernando wants to stay here and we are satisfied with him. He works hard, there are no problems."

However, the specialist added that Torres may not appear on the field in the return leg of the Champions League round of 16 match against "Copenhagen." The English club won the first match 2-0 and is the clear favorite to advance to the next stage.

"Perhaps we will let Torres rest," Ancelotti said.
