The injury curse continues to haunt the Turin team. It was revealed yesterday that striker Vincenzo Iaquinta is out for the entire season. The 31-year-old footballer, who has been constantly struggling with injuries, found out in the hospital the day before yesterday that his season had come to an end.
Tests showed that Iaquinta had a ruptured muscle in his left thigh. The rupture is severe, so the treatment will take at least three months.
This is already the fourth player from the Turin team whose season has ended prematurely. Forward Fabio Quagliarella, defender Leandro Rinaudo, and midfielder Mohamed Sissoko will only return to the field next season.
It was also revealed yesterday that Felipe Melo will not be able to play in today's match against "Brescia." The midfielder has not fully recovered from a muscle injury.
Meanwhile, there are some good news as well. Paolo De Ceglie has started training with the team after a four-month rehabilitation. And Luca Toni and Armand Traore are already back in full training.
