Gareth Bale has signed a new five-and-a-half year contract with the London club.
The 21-year-old footballer joined the capital team in 2007, coming from Southampton. This season, with his excellent performance, he has earned a reputation as one of the best left-backs in the world.
"I am enjoying playing for Tottenham," said Bale. "I want us to continue moving forward and achieve great victories. We have a great team with young players. Playing against our fans is an incredible experience."
In the Champions League quarterfinals, Tottenham will face Real Madrid from Madrid.
