London officials will evaluate coach Carlo Ancelotti's future after the season ends, says managing director Ron Gourlay.
Last season, the team managed by the Italian capital won the English championship and the cup tournament, but this year they are far behind the "Premier" league leader "Man Utd."
"Carlo has a contract that is valid until the end of the 2012 season," Gourlay told the BBC. "Let's wait until May, and then we will decide how the coach and others have performed.
"We understand that winning trophies every season is difficult. However, we note that it is very important to be among the contenders and fight during crucial stages of tournaments.
"We have invested a lot of money in the youth academy and squad. Therefore, it is precisely at Chelsea club where you have to feel pressure every day."
