The famous Czech footballer Novak has died

At the age of 79, Czechoslovakia national team captain from the 1962 World Cup final, Ladislav Novak, passed away.

The left back player passed away on Monday morning. The cause of death has not been announced.

Under his leadership, Czechoslovakia eliminated Hungary and Yugoslavia, reaching the final where they lost to Brazil.

Novak defended the honor of the national team 75 times.
