Slovenian football legend Zlatko Zahovic predicts an easy victory for his country in the European Championship qualifying match against Italy.
On Friday, Group C leader Italy (10 points) will clash with second-placed Slovenia (7 points).
In an interview with the newspaper "Gazzetta dello Sport," Zahovic said: "We will win easily on Friday, with a result of 2-0. In addition, Slovenians will control the ball for 70% of the time. Am I boasting? Absolutely not.
"I like Italian football and I respect it, but at the moment you have many problems. Almost only foreigners play in Serie A clubs."
He continued: "Coach Cesare Prandelli is an excellent specialist, but he has difficulties in selecting the team because few Italians represent the strongest teams. There are only two or three good footballers left.
"You used to have players like Paolo Maldini and Roberto Baggio. Now you are happy with Andrea Ranocchia, although he wouldn't even play for the Slovenian national team because he is simply too slow. If he takes to the field on Friday, this weakness will surely be exploited."
