Jose Mourinho predicts that Cristiano Ronaldo will be ready to take the field in the Champions League quarter-final first leg match against London's Tottenham.
Madrid's Real leader suffered a calf injury last Saturday. It is predicted that he will be out of action for two to three weeks.
The most expensive football player on the planet will definitely not represent the Portuguese national team in friendly matches against Chile and Finland, but should play in the match against an English club taking place in Madrid on April 5.
"I think he will be ready. We don't have any matches this weekend, so there will be time to recover," Mourinho assured.
"I don't expect to see him in the match against Sporting Gijon, because even if Cristiano could take the field, we wouldn't risk it. I want him to play in the Champions League and do so in good physical condition."
