President Maurizio Zamparini insists that the goalkeeper Javier Pastore, who has attracted the attention of major European clubs, has decided not to change teams this summer.

Zamparini also stated that he had considered and ultimately rejected a €50 million offer from an undisclosed club, which, according to the media, could be "Man City", "Man Utd", "Chelsea", or "Barcelona".

However, now the "Palermo" director told "Gazzetta dello Sporto" that he is certain Pastore will not leave: "He wants to stay in Palermo. Javier is a smart person who wants to continue improving, so he will stay with us for another year.

"I already rejected a €50 million offer. Even if "Chelsea" offered, he wouldn't leave. "Barcelona" also invited him, but I said: not this year."

In the Italian championship, Pastore scored ten goals in 30 matches and is the most productive player in the team.
