After the removal of a liver tumor, recovering defender Eric Abidal was discharged from the hospital and will continue rehabilitation at home.
The 31-year-old footballer should start light training again after about a month.
"The postoperative procedures were good and there were no complications," the club statement says.
This season, Abidal played 22 matches in the Spanish championship and appeared on the field seven times in the Champions League.
