Giuseppe Rossi's agent Federico Pastorello revealed to journalists that the leaders of Turin tried to lure his 24-year-old client.
This season has been the most successful in the career of the Italian striker and national team player. Rossi has already scored 15 goals in the Spanish "La Liga" championship.
"Juventus" showed interest in Rossi. It's not surprising for a club of that caliber," explained the agent. "The Turin team wanted to loan the striker with the option to buy his contract at the end of the season, but "Villarreal" rejected this offer."
When asked if London's "Tottenham" offered 30 million euros for the Italian's services, Pastorello replied, "And not just them. This player is attracting a lot of attention."
It's normal for an ambitious club like "Juventus" to want to attract Rossi to their ranks. He is a young talent with a winner's mentality ingrained in him.
