Del Bosque about Kaunas Stadium: Let's wait and see what UEFA decides © EuroFootball.com

The strategist of the Spanish national team, Vicente Del Bosque, was happy with his players' victory against the Czech Republic, but expressed concern about the poor condition of the pitch in Kaunas.

The world champions now have to travel to Lithuania, where on March 29th at the Darius and Girėnas Stadium they will face Raimondas Žutautas' team.

"The Czechs scored a goal and forced us to change our game," said the specialist. "After that, they defended well, so it wasn't easy. Later, we started controlling the midfield and got our result."

Del Bosque also praised striker David Villa, who scored two goals and secured a 2-1 victory, becoming the all-time leading goal scorer for the national team: "This generation is amazing, breaking records. Villa achieved a great result, many players will soon play their hundredth match."

Speaking about the upcoming trip to Lithuania, the coach was worried: "We will go for the win. But it won't be easy. Also, the pitch is in really bad condition, so we have to wait and see what UEFA decides."
