The agent of Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon does not hide the fact that the Italian national team goalkeeper may leave Turin in the summer. Up to now, it was believed that the 33-year-old footballer would renew his contract with the "old lady", which is valid until 2013.

"Will he stay in Turin? I don't know. First of all, we need to consult with the club. One thing is clear for now - Buffon's contract is still valid for two more years," Martina said.

Buffon has often been linked with English clubs (Manchester United and Manchester City), but the agent denies such rumors.

"Manchester City already has England national team goalkeeper Joe Hart, whom, as far as I know, Roberto Mancini is completely satisfied with. There is nothing more to add here," Martina continued.

"Meanwhile, 'the Red Devils' recently signed a contract with the future replacement for Van der Sar, so I don't think they will be looking for another goalkeeper," Martina added.

“However, these clubs have not contacted us. Recently, there have been reports that another English club - Arsenal from London - will try to attract Buffon.

"We have also not received any calls from Arsenal camp. I know they are looking for a goalkeeper and I think it's a great club, but so far the phone hasn't rung," Martina said.
