Ferguson: It was a championship performance © EuroFootball.com

T

he head coach Sir Alex Ferguson believes that his players showed champion-like determination in the Saturday English Premier League matches at the stadium.

Two penalty kicks converted by Mark Noble put London's West Ham ahead, but in the second half, three goals by Wayne Rooney and one by Javier Hernandez secured victory for the 'Red Devils.'

"We played like champions, never dropped our heads and believed in our abilities," said Ferguson. "It's never easy to play at this stadium. Moreover, they are fighting for survival, but we had our own goals.

We dominated the entire second half and showed a champion-like game. The match was full of events. We created many chances and had control of the ball, but we were losing.

We were stunned, so we had to go all in. We needed to get something more out of this match.
