Michael Owen hopes to receive an offer to extend the contract expiring this summer.
The experienced striker put pen to paper on a two-year deal in 2009, but he cannot be certain about the future as negotiations have not yet taken place.
"Within the ranks of 'Man Utd,' the Englishman played 37 matches and scored thirteen goals, but recently he has hardly been playing,"
"I'm not sure about the future - my contract expires after the season," Owen said. "I won't hide it: if everything was as I wanted, I would extend the contract. I would like to continue playing here, but I have to wait for the club's decision. We haven't talked about it yet.""
