The German Football Federation has punished Munich forward Arjen Robben with a two-match suspension and a 15,000 euro fine for receiving a red card in the match against "Nurnberg."
The 27-year-old footballer approached the referee after the game and insulted him, so he will have to miss two important matches in the fight for a place in the Champions League.
The Dutch player, who has already apologized for his behavior, will not play against second-placed Leverkusen Bayer and Frankfurt Eintracht.
Currently, the German champions are in fourth place in the national championship.
