Right-back defender Rafael has recovered from a knee injury and is ready to play in Tuesday's UEFA Champions League quarter-final second-leg match against London's Chelsea club.
The 20-year-old Brazilian's first match ended early when he injured his knee and had to be carried off on stretchers. He also missed the 'Red Devils' victorious weekend match in the English Premier League against London's Fulham team.
"Rafael should be ready to play on Tuesday," said coach Sir Alex Ferguson. "Wes Brown, Antonio Valencia, and John O'Shea are back. Players are recovering from injuries and that is a big boost."
"He is a fantastic footballer," the Scot said of Valencia. "I think we chose the right time to take him off the field to keep him fresh for the match with Chelsea. He is expected to play a crucial role on Tuesday."
