It's not surprising that due to the huge sum of money and poor results, Torres becomes the subject of ridicule. In the stadium, chants directed at the Spaniard are heard more and more often, and there is no shortage of biting remarks on portals.
One 'blogger' mercilessly ridiculed the Chelsea star with fabricated news. In one of them, it is claimed that "bookmakers are more likely to consider the possibility of a bear unexpectedly running onto the field and scoring a goal in tonight's match than Torres." It is added that the Spaniard's chances are even lower than those of retired Eric Cantona, Robbie Savage, or ... a toothbrush.
