Turino this summer seeks to sign a contract with the safe Andrea Pirlo.
Recently, Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta admitted to journalists that the Italian surname is among the possible candidates to strengthen the "Old Lady's" lineup.
This summer, Pirlo's contract with the club is expiring, while Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi's statements suggested that the future at Milan is unclear.
Soon Juventus should contact the Italian agent Tullio Tinti. Tinti and Marotta have known each other for quite a while and have good relations.
Their paths crossed when Marotta was working at Sampdoria and the Genoa club signed a contract with another Tinti client - Giampaolo Pazzini. Tinti also represents the interests of Alessandro Matri and Luca Toni. Both players joined Juventus last January.
Pirlo would fit perfectly into Juventus' squad - the midfielder is ideal for the playing strategy used by Turin's head coach, Luigi Delneri. Also, Turin is close to Milan and Brescia (the hometown of the footballer), and there are quite a few Italian national team players in the Juventus team whom Pirlo knows well.
The only problem could be the player's salary. Currently, it is 5 million euros per year. If Pirlo does not agree to a lower salary, then the contract will not be signed.
