Miloš Krasić, speaking in an interview to "La Stampa" journalists, admitted that he still hopes to play in the Champions League next year.
The Serbian national team player also tried to explain why his performance has declined in recent years.
"My form has dropped compared to the beginning of the season, but now I feel much better. Miloš will be back," said the Serb.
"I don't want to make excuses, but I haven't had a break for a year and a half - Russian league, World Cup and now Juventus."
Krasić is convinced that "the old lady" still has a chance to qualify for the Champions League if they win all the remaining matches.
"I won't waste empty promises, but we have six matches ahead, so we will try to squeeze out the maximum in the end. We need to win all the remaining matches, but that won't be enough. We need the teams above us in the table to stumble," he said.
When asked by journalists if not qualifying for the Champions League would be a failure, Krasić replied: "Of course, a club like Juventus must play in the Champions League, even if a bunch of new players and a new coach come to the club in one summer.
"Perhaps next season will be better for us and we will resemble the old Juventus more. I miss the Champions League, because we used to qualify with CSKA every year, and now I watch it on TV."
Juventus head coach Luigi Delneri has recently been placing the Serb in an unusual central midfield position in the last few matches, but Krasić has no complaints.
"I played in the middle three or four times. I have nothing against it, because I can move the ball more freely, and besides, I can go both left and right," said Krasić.
