Three matches were played in the Italian "Serie A" championship on Saturday.
Leader "Milan" took another step towards the title by crushing Genoa's "Sampdoria" and taking advantage of one of the closest pursuers, Milano's "Inter", losing to the "Parma" team.
"Milan" thrashed "Sampdoria" 3-0 at home and increased their lead over second-placed "Napoli" to six points. However, this lead could melt again on Sunday if Napoli beats "Udinese".
Meanwhile, "Inter" suffered a 0-2 defeat to "Parma" away and now trails the first place by eight points with five rounds to play.
