Even the best strikers in the world sometimes have to scratch their heads after failing to score from a situation where it was necessary to do so.
This Saturday, "Man Utd" striker Dimitar Berbatov and "Roma" representative Mirko Vučinič could see that for themselves.
During one attack, Berbatov could have sent the ball into the net twice, but initially his attempt was blocked by the "Man City" goalkeeper, and then the Bulgarian missed the goal from a few meters away.
Meanwhile, "Roma" representative Vučinič had both space and time to adjust, but after a perfect pass from his teammate, he missed the empty "Palermo" goal.
Interestingly, both "Man Utd" and "Roma" suffered painful defeats: the English club was eliminated in the FA Cup semi-finals, and the Italian team significantly complicated their chances of reaching the Champions League.
