The experienced footballer collided heads with his teammate Joe Flanagan. Carragher was unconscious for a few minutes, medics revived him using an oxygen mask. The player's neck was stabilized with a special brace. However, in the changing room, the Englishman regained consciousness and was able to sit up, so it is hoped to avoid more serious consequences. Due to injuries, 18-year-old Flanagan and 17-year-old Jack Robinson played in the second half in the Liverpool defense.
