Strategist Sir Alex Ferguson insists that a draw against Newcastle will not harm his team's fight for the English champions title.
The "Red Devils" did not play well and ended the match in a draw 0-0. Now the Manchester team is in second place, trailing London's Arsenal by seven points with one game less played.
"We didn't play a very successful match, but we are in the same position as before, with five games left," Ferguson said.
Arsenal will play against Tottenham on Wednesday and could reduce the gap to four points, while Chelsea will have the opportunity to extend it to six points as they host Birmingham.
"We have two very important Arsenal vs Chelsea matches coming up. We need to keep an eye on the latter team because they have three home games ahead," Ferguson pointed out.
