Defender Adriano Correia is out of the lineup for four weeks due to a thigh injury.
The Brazilian national team player was injured during Wednesday's King's Cup final match against Real Madrid, which the Catalans lost 0-1 in extra time.
This is a new headache for coach Pep Guardiola, who already has to do without the injured Eric Abidal and Bojan Krkic. Captain Carles Puyol is also unavailable for now.
Barcelona is currently leading the Spanish championship, eight points ahead of Real Madrid. The two teams will also meet in the Champions League semi-finals, which start next week.
