Arabs who acquired the "Getafe" club change the name and promise to defeat Madrid's "Real" © EuroFootball.com

Club has a new owner - it is the "Royal Emirates Group" company, which acquired the Spanish team for approximately 90 million euros.

The new owners, led by Sheikh Butti Bin Suhail Al Maktoum, immediately changed the team's name to "Getafe Team Dubai" and hope to finish at least sixth in the Spanish championship next season.

Last season, "Getafe," based in the Madrid suburbs, finished sixth in the national championship, but this year is struggling and currently ranks only 14th. Additionally, the team attracts the fewest spectators to their stadium in the entire top league.

Our goal is to defeat Madrid's "Real," Bin Suhailas outlined ambitious plans.

He also added that the team will be supplemented with Arab footballers matching the level of the Spanish league.
