A significant step towards the Italian champion title was taken by the "Milan" club, who defeated Verona's "Chievo" 1-0 thanks to a late goal by Robinho. With four rounds left until the end of the season, "Milan" leads the closest pursuer "Inter" by eight points. The latter team also celebrated a victory, beating Rome's "Lazio" 2-1, even though they had to play without their main goalkeeper Julio Cesar from the middle of the first half. After this victory, "Roma" with 56 points solidified their sixth place in the table, above Turin's "Juventus", who will play their match late in the evening, four points behind.
