On Saturday evening, the final match of the country's League Cup tournament ("Coupe de la Ligue") was played at the France national stadium.

The players from "Marseille" managed to defend the title they won a year ago by defeating "Montpellier" with a minimal result of 1-0.

The only goal of the match was scored by defender Taye Taiwo in the 80th minute.
