In the first semi-final match of the Champions League against Madrid, Barcelona will have to play without one of their leaders, Andres Iniesta.
The midfielder arrived in the Spanish capital and started training at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, but returned to the dressing room after just 10 minutes. He didn't have enough time to recover from a minor leg injury he suffered during the weekend match against Pamplona's Osasuna.
"Iniesta will definitely not play, I can guarantee 100%," said Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola.
The coach, who also won't have defenders Eric Abidal, Maxwell, and Adriano, hopes that the Spaniard will recover in time for the second leg, which will take place in Barcelona on May 3rd.
