The French Football Federation (FFF) will conduct an internal investigation to determine if reports in the media about the application of racist quotas are correct.

According to reports, FFF members secretly agreed that from now on, black and Arab players aged 12-13 in football schools cannot make up more than 30 percent.

FFF President Fernand Duchaussoy strongly denied this, but the country's Minister of Sports Chantal Jouanno ordered an investigation.

"There is no room for discrimination in sports, whether we are talking about spectators or trained footballers," she said.

It was said that these quotas are also related to France's national team coach Laurent Blanc, but the specialist dismissed the accusations: "There are no plans. To say that I am involved is a lie."
