Agent: Buffoon will not go to Rome © EuroFootball.com

Gianluigi Buffon's agent Silvano Martina once again denied rumors that the Turin goalkeeper will leave the club this summer and switch to wearing "Roma" jersey.

"I don't know what else to say. I repeat once again - there are no negotiations taking place regarding Buffon's transfer to Roma," the agent said.

"I have never spoken with Roma representatives about such a deal."

Rumors about alleged ongoing negotiations were exacerbated by the fact that Buffon's agent is a close friend of the future Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini.

"Everyone knows that Sabatini and I are good friends and have lunch together every day, but that doesn't mean Buffon will go to Roma. Nobody has shown interest in the world's best goalkeeper for now.

"I also had to read in the newspapers that I had met with Roma representative Gianpaolo Montali, but I had the honor of not meeting him," Martina continued.

"Buffon is a Juventus player and he is preparing to continue defending the colors of this club."
