President of the European Football Association (UEFA) Michel Platini accompanied by the highest UEFA officials will visit Lithuania next week. The official visit will take place in Kaunas, where on May 13, Friday, main meetings and events are scheduled.

During the visit to Lithuania, UEFA President will be accompanied by UEFA Vice President Marios Lefkaritis, Director of National Associations Theodore Theodoridis, Head of National Associations Development Thierry Favre and Chief of President's Administration Kevin Lamouras.

The agenda of the visit includes meetings with representatives of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, leaders of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, as well as mayors of Vilnius and Kaunas. The question of the National Football Stadium in Lithuania is one of the main topics.

The last time UEFA President visited Lithuania was two years ago. In 2009, M. Platini participated in the UEFA Executive Committee meeting that took place in Vilnius.
