Tomorrow, on February 1st, an international football tournament will start in Klaipėda to compete for the city mayor's cup. The tournament will involve teams from Klaipėda, Marijampolė, as well as the Latvian team from Liepaja, whose head coach is Benjaminas Zelkevičius. The team is also represented by Edvinas Lukoševičius and Marius Skinderis, and former one of the most promising Lithuanian football players Mindaugas Kalonas has also arrived for a club review.

Tomorrow at 2 PM, "Sūduva" will play against "Metalurgs", on Wednesday also at 2 PM, "Atlantas" will test their strength against "Šilutė". On Thursday, the hosts will compete against the team from Marijampolė, and on Friday the guests from Latvia will play against "Šilutė", these matches also starting at 2 PM.

On Saturday, the last day of the tournament, at noon "Sūduva" will meet "Šilutė", and from 2 PM "Atlantas" will play against "Metalurgs". The winners will be awarded after these matches.

All matches will take place at the central stadium of Klaipėda.

In this tournament, the team from Marijampolė will not have their player, who is participating in a foreign club review.

Also participating in the tournament is "Atlantas", where two players - defender A.Sidorovas and goalkeeper A.Cokovas - have arrived for a review, and last year's defender Vidas Alunderis has also returned to the club.
