The club signed a three-year contract with head coach Kenny Dalglish.
The specialist was appointed to lead the team at the beginning of the year, when he replaced the fired Roy Hodgson. According to the initial agreement, he was supposed to work until the end of the season.
However, excellent results persuaded the officials of Liverpool to offer a long-term contract.
"Of course, I am very pleased with the opportunity given to me," said the Scotsman. "When I started working in January, I couldn't make any promises, and now I will be able to show what I can do."
Currently, in the English Championship, Liverpool is in fifth place, although under Hodgson's leadership they were located in the middle of the tournament table.
Along with Dalglish, one of his assistants, Steve Clarke, also signed a three-year contract.
